All ceramic tiles are made up of clay and quartz ferrous sand materials, along with water. This finished clay material is this then rolled flat. Sort of like making cookie dough! Individual shapes are cut out of the clay to form shapes and images. This form is assembled, usually by hand, painted, then fired to high temperatures and in some cases their surfaces are glazed. Ceramic tile comes in either glazed or unglazed surfaces.

Installing ceramic mosaic tiles are an easy and affordable way to dramatically improve the appearance of your swimming pool, bathroom, kitchen or flooring project. Ceramic mosaic tiles are made from a white clay fired in a kiln. They are then finished with a glaze which carries both the color and pattern.

Our ceramic pool mosaics are generally formed with smaller pieces and more grout lines, when compared to our porcelain mosaics. This results in a more traditional appearance which appeals to many people. Each individual piece in our ceramic mosaics is hand painted to bring a high level of realism and appeal. Because ceramic tiles generally have a relatively high water absorption rating, it is not recommended that you install these mosaics above the frost line in pools subjected to freezing temperatures. Some of our Ceramic Mosaics are freeze and frost proof, and will state this in its description.
