Facts about Porcelain Tile:

Porcelain is made from finer, denser clay then ceramic tiles, which results in a harder body.

Porcelain tile is fired at higher temperatures, resulting in a more durable, scratch-resistant tile than ceramic tile.

Porcelain tiles are freeze and frost proof.
Some of our images are shown with a background. When your mosaic purchase arrives there will be no background. These are not set as a platform or tile background. The individual color tiles are adhered to a mesh material to make the whole design image. Grout, thin set, marble dust, etc. will go between the tile pieces and over the mesh material. You will not see the mesh after installation.
This is porcelain tile and the thickness varies. Most will be approx. ¼" thick. |
